Healthy Wealthy and Wise

UM NOT ... LOL
So after i got married Tim added me to his health care. Thank goodness something that I could afford. Being a cash patient always limited my abilities to get the thorough check ups like you need. I was able to go to the doctor when i was sick and for my allergies but that was about it. I tried a few times to get health insurance and if you are single and have no plan at work you can sympathize with my ability to NOT be able to pay their premiums and their co-pays and their deductibles. So to sum it up i didn't have health insurance. So i got me some when i got married. As the wonderful husband suggested (more like demanded) I made my appointment for a physical. UMMMMMMMMM lets say

NOT HEALTHY: I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes yesterday. I am on 3 medications. The first one for kidney and high blood pressure, the second for high cholesterol and the third for diabetes (now i am newly diagnosed and in a very low range so with good health monitoring and controlling of the blood sugars i have a possibility of getting off the meds) So i am going to lose weight and eat better!!!! (My goal). I will be taking a few living with diabetes classes and learning how to eat better so I will be sharing my recipes on my blog and hope that you share some of your favorites with me as well!

NOT WEALTHY: Even with health insurance i spent 102.82 on the visit and meds

NOT WISE: Simply because i have no idea how i let myself fall to this level and I am not sure how to pick myself back up.

OLD PROBLEMS: I have had an inssent ringing in my ear for a while, the doctors at county said there was nothing wrong, then i had a vertigo episode and that dr said that could cause it, well i went to the audiologist who said hearing loss causes that ringing. Well i did the hearing test and only have minimal hearing loss so that shouldn't create the ringing and humming i hear so i have another appointment to go to the ENT specialist.

************And to think I thought that i felt fine going into the doctors office******************
