Day 300 -- More cupcakes

More pictures in magazines means more cupcakes for me to bake. This time my cupcakes were spiders (do you see the tootsie roll legs) the head is too big you were suppose to use mallomar cookies but i could not located any so i went with a fudge pinwheel style cookie. My helper tonight was derrick :) thank goodness because there is no way that i could roll 36 plus tootsie rolls for the legs. The receipents of these cupcakes is Gidget's kindergarten class

Outdoor Wednesday

I know that Halloween has passed but so many of you shared the pumpkins patches and the colors of the changing of the earth where you live. In sunny southern California we don't necessarily see the changing of the leaves. But i did want to share with you all the visit to our favorite pumpkin patch green spot farms in mentone, ca. I always take a picture near the large tree that they have set up very festive. One of these4 days I will have to pull a couple years worth of pictures and see how much they kids have all changed. It has a bee house, a train, a jumper, a haymaze, a corn maze, a hayride, arts crafts, petting zoo pony rides, pick your pumpkins off the vines and so much more. We usually spend a few hours each visit, this year we spent a lot of time on the teeter totters, i think that kelsie is old enough to get how to use one and is not afraid of the return UP! Last year the majority of our time was spent in the corn maze. I love to hear the girls giggle. And as i sit here posting the pictures from our incredible day, i can hear them laugh and giggle and discuss the size of the pumpkins and how heavy they would be to carry.
But not to worry the youngest one has learned how to use a wheelbarrow and therefore has announced that her pumpkins are not heavy at all. I thought that it was pretty creative for a four year old.

I hope you enjoyed our trip around the pumpkin patch.
Don't forget to visit other outdoor wednesday participants.
