Geo Caching - Challenge

We took the wheel for its first spin and the challenge it landed on is Seeking Smileys. This challenge is all about seeing how many caches and Adventure Lab® Locations you can find in a month. From April 3–30 you have the chance to earn three new souvenirs for easy, medium, or hard levels of the challenge:

Easy: Find and log 5 caches to earn the first souvenir.
Medium: Find and log 10 caches to earn the second souvenir.
Hard: Find and log 100 caches to earn the third souvenir.

Week 13 - March 27 - April 2

March 27 - AHHHHH another morning waking up at the river. I can not thank Kris and Randy enough for allowing me the pleasure of using the house for 4 of the most relaxing days of March!!! We got a late start but did some desert caching (loads of DNF's) and we even made a trip to oatman arizona (this town deserves its own post) :)

March 28 The river view in the morning is SPECTAULAR!!! an even later start this morning to our caching adventure. We did the other side of Bullhead city today and had much better luck with our numbers :) What a great day to be alive and enjoying the desert with my favorite person TIM ... and some really cool friends, cindy, mike and gail

March 29 AH today is my last day at the river the morning was rushed but ahhhhhhhh such is life. We loaded the truck, readied the house for the next visitors and headed out with a tear in my eye as i am just not ready to go home! We did some caching on our way out!  SAW a snake for the first time while out caching .. yes a big rattlesnack and it was 90 feet long and 20 feet round and was about to strike and we barely escaped with our lives ... at least that is how i am telling it ... (see another post for the real picture) we headed home tim and i hung back from the group and did some more caching :) So excited to spend time with him as he was gone for 2 weeks

March 30 - Ah back to work day .. UGH not so fun so much to do but the good news is that Joe left early and i can do this work at my speed.

March 31 - So so so wish i was retired. Work, work, work, ugh but i guess i gotta do it to pay the bills. Today i finished logging the caches from the time at the river .. ohhhhhhhhhhh how i wish i was retired.

April 1 - Today was boring at work .. BORING ... the caches out there were calling me so i hit the road picked up derrick and maddy and went caching .. but instead i found some mud puddles and made my truck DIRTY!!! It was so much fun. Got my first FTF today .. harville trees .. yeah so excited. Picked up Taylor and went to dinner, then home to camp in the livingroom ... GREAT DAY :)

April 2 - Slept in a bit, made breakfast for tim and then the 3 of us hit the cache road to the bowling alley. It was great fun. Taylor bowled a 65!!!

Geo Caching Fun - Travel bug container

I have decided in 2011 that i am gg to be holding my own geo caching events as biatchin and mamaloo are not gg to host any this yr. Every event needs a place to store travel bugs so i made this very cute box :)

Week 1

Jan 1 - I went and viewed the rose parade floats while tim stayed home and kept the couch company and he enjoyed playing his new video game. After dinner we went and found 2 caches

Jan 2 a quick trip to the commissary for some much needed groceries and some supplies that were not so needed but will come in handy for next years cookie exchange.

Jan 3 back to work monday UGH! Made it early. Went to dentist where they said my root canal is failing and they want a mere $1,500 to fix it ... um no pain in the mouth means no money going to the dentist.

Jan 4 - slow day but i still made it to work only 2 minutes late .. wow i am getting good. Made dinner and then decided to play on line and read a magazine or 3. Reading the magazine i came across the BHG organizing section and i was so inspired to get something organized that I went and got all the old receipe paraphnelia and sorted it. All those receipes now have a home and i can find them easily.

Jan 5 Today is payday. Yeah but BOO as when it hits the bank i will be broke again. Today a social living deal came over and it was $9 for a 90 min tour ... see other posts sounds like fun.

Jan 6 - A productive day at work led me to walmart to get some caching stuff for Tuesday's first event (truth be told i'm nervous). I then managed with the help of sue to fix my geo caching stats :) great day all in all

Jan 7 last night was not a good night my leg cramps seem to be worse than ever (must call the dr).

Jan 8 - out caching the barstow needle power trail (grabbed 454 caches today) with crazy teacher and obtuse
