As many of you know i am a blog hopper. I was reading the blog of Charmaine her blog can be found here http://oodabugalley.blogspot.com/(she usually has the cutest card ideas and what not on her blog and as my swaps for next month call for cards i thought that i would go looking for ideas this morning. When what should appear on her blog but a tag. Interested to see what the 6 album and 6 picture was (see i am on my computer at work and really don't have pictures on this computer) so for giggles i went to see if i even had 6 folders and what to my wondering eyes appear but the folder of Tim and I's whale watching adventure last weekend in san diego. The picture was taken out at see and you are looking at point loma in san diego.

August Photo Challenges

YIKES these days i can't seem to get a weekly photo challenge up so i decided to do them at month's end! Well i am a little early for month's end but i thought that i woudl seize the day and add them! ENJOY!
This months topics are

8/2 - WET - Picture taken in LONG BEACH what is wetter than the beach! This is Derrick, Taylor and Kelsie ... this is the day we went to the aquarium and then walked along the beach we saw boats and boats and more boats and fed the birds!

8/9 - ODDITY - this was the biggest oddest lookin crab thingy i have ever seen! We say it at the long beach aquarium!

8/16 - OLD - Well not sure that you are all going to get old but i have to share that i can remember when these 2 were little, when a lollipop solved the worlds problems now they are in high school trying to solve real life problems!

8/23 - UNFINISHED - is the pinata's for the party ... so to work these 4 went!

PHOTO Challenge May 18 - LARGE

Well i know I know it has been a while since i have done the photo challenges!

This week the title was large so i have been sitting at my desk trying to think of something that i can post that is large!

Then i remembered that Tim took pictures on his way to Colorado of the sky and the clouds ... so without further ado check out these large clouds (WHAT DO YOU SEE IN THEM)?

Friday Photo Challenge 3 / 22 - Sentimental

I know that this is a PHOTO challenge, but as i looked around for something sentimental my grandmothers' canvas is the most sentimental thing I own. This always hung in her dining area, then in my mom's until she moved where she had no kitchen walls for it, as my sister doesn't have a wall for it, i took it with open hands and happily tacked it up on the wall, and each time i look at it i fondly remember my grandparents!

We went hiking in the Sequoias, tim, took a fond liking to the ROOTS of the trees! They were awesome, and in true form i had to touch a lot of the things that were on the HIKE, hey part of experiencing things is to TOUCH, well i have to say that the roots TRULY had a soft feeling to them unlike you would think

Photo Challenge 2/2 - "STRANGE"

Well strange explains my life on so many levels. LOL
In searching for something strange - well here is what i came up with!

This is a gorgeous picture taken of Big Bear Lake. In the background is yes you guessed it SKI SLOPES. I believe it is snow summit. So, to me it is strange to think that this picture was taken in Sept and within a short few months this same location would elude a totally different picture, it would have snow covering the trees and people racing down the brown patches!

Photo Challenge 1/18 "fast"

THere to me is nothing faster in the world than running water. It is so uncontrollable and unpredictable! Awesome sight! My picture was taking at Disneyland. A very controlled envirnoment, but could you imagine this in the wild? Does anyone besides Amy know which ride this picture goes with?

Well my peaceful shot was taken at no other place than Disneyland. This shot is from the Hungry Bear Cafe where we ate lunch. Didn't know that there were quiet places at Disneyland did you?

I know I know, i am a little late in posting but one of my goals this year to stay on task. I didn't post a picture for this title because i really wanted to use one of the girls from Halloween, and of course they are on the hard drive of the other computer, so i finally got off my duff and burned them and now have on CD! Guess that also means time to take them to Sams Club and get them printed.
These sisters share so much! From their parents, and relatives, to their bedroom and toys, to their car rides and fun events.

This weeks topic was "weather" and since all my friends across the states think that cali is all sunshine and beaches, i wanted to share a picture taken 12/17/2006 wherein we have weather, yes weather. Yes that is snow that is covering my beautiful truck. It really fell from the ski, we didn't even have to make any with those snow machines ...

When i think "FRESH" i think of the outdoors, fresh air, fresh cut grass, fresh lush vegitation ... this picture was taken on a hike in september 2006 in the san bernardino national forest. If the camera lens was spun around you would be able to see Big Bear Lake another "FRESH" the smell of lake!
