Lots of people have been asking what is the regatta and what are you going to do at the river. So i decided to google and find out what to expect ....

Join the largest floating party ever! More than 5,000 inner tube floaters will gather to show off crazy floats and costumes while partying on the Colorado River

Thousands of outdoor, fun-loving water enthusiasts are expected to invade Laughlin and the Colorado River for the fourth bi-state inner tube regatta.

So grab an inner tube and enjoy a lazy and relaxing drift down the river, or get a bunch of friends or co-workers and build a creative non-motorized floating masterpiece for this wet and wild extravaganza.

This year's theme is "Rockin The River" . . . So let your decorating imagination ROCK! Another regatta activity is the kayak and canoe race that launches from Davis Camp early in the morning.

Launching of the floats takes place from both sides of the river about 9:00 a.m. The regatta festivities begin the night before with the Ye Gotta Regatta pre-party providing free music and entertainment, vendors and food concessions, and where area bartenders compete in the Best Bartender on the River Contest by concocting tropical libations for charity. The festivities end with the Ye Hafta Afta post-party at Rotary Park immediately following the float.
