NEW YEARS' and Pages 534 -536

Well my new year's eve was suppose to be spent among adhesive and cardstock. I was going to attempt to make 17 pages to make it to the 550 goal. But at 8:40ish my friend called and invited us bowling, so we hurried and got ready grabbed the balls and left but not before i had a chance to do 3 pages so my final 3 pages for 2007Thanks Elaine for the great purple and white and green page kit! This page kit i dug out of a box, it wasn't in a baggie and there is no name on the back but it is U R as cute as a button.

YEAH Me 3 pages down, With page kits from swaps i might have been able to reach 17 pages. But instead i WON at bowling!

Page 533 When opposites attract!

Tim and I are complete OPPOSITES. He goes to bed early, i am a night owl, he likes coffee i like dew, he likes old rock i like country music. We have been opposites for 15 yrs and it has worked so far, so we aren't going to change a thing! This page is full of stickles and brads! Thanks to all whom are on my piffing board that i have collected these items from !

Pages 525 - 532 Dinner Cruise

In June 2007 we went to San Diego with Mike and Lori for a great DINNER CRUISE on the Hornblower!
page 1 is a sketch from Rhonda (thanks) I used the Junkitz SALSA line (i am so sad that they closed) Page 2 is us walking to the ship (it was a HIKE) but at least we had the beautiful scenes of San Diego to amuse ourselves. I used K*I memories alphas and chipboard from a block at walmart! This layout was also created using a pencil line sketch!

Pages 523 and 524 Easter 2007

This 2 page layout was completed at the crop that i attended at the beginning of December. I used a TLC kit purchased from Tracie. I love when pages all coordinate. The egg scoop is from deluxe cuts.
the egg dying kit is also from deluxe cuts. (i sure am going to miss them)

Pages 506 - 522 The last of the SANDIA mountains and our trip to New Mexico

I went to an all day crop on Saturday, and i might add i was very leary to go. I braved the elements alone, yes no friends wanted or were able to go scrap with me! But for 5 bucks and a potluck dish, i figured i couldn't lose! So i packed up and headed out! I got there and was sad and lonely and no one hardly spoke to me! But that is okay i wasn't there to socialize i was there to scrap! BUT BUT BUT i was lonely ... the day progressed the girls warmed up and I ended up having a lovely time and getting 19 pages done, however there are only 17 here! The other 2 are Easter and will come up under a new blog! UP to 522 and the goal is 550! Thinking that i might not make it though as this is a busy 2 weeks and i have 26 swaps due!
Family page kit was created by me for Awesome swaps my colors were orange and yellow which went well with the wonderful basic grey Scarlett line (BLEK) . I happily at the end of the night surrendered all the paper that was left to whomever would give it a new home!
Now entering New Mexico is a double page spread (hey Kathy don't you love the CHILI's)

You can't go to NM unless you are looking for love (NOT) but it was found while touring old town. The page kit was created by an AWESOME SWAPS member but as i sit here writing this blog i can't remember if it was Bridgette or Megan?
BIG ROCKS .. i love the rock formations that you see throughout NM ... thanks to Robin for the turquoise brads (i think it was robin)

Pages 502 - 504 - Sandia Trip

A big thanks to Naomi!!! THANK YOU! She kindly sends me sketches each week and the other night when i was feeling a tad blue and having no mojo i looked at her email and these 3 pages were the result of that one e-mail .. thanks again!

Kathy do you see the little red chile ... that was in the pif you sent ... good thing i was working on these pictures when that pif came out!

Pages 496 - 501 -- Sandia Trip

When i set the goal at 365 for the year i never thought that i would make it!

Then I did and WOW .. so i set another goal. Tracie convinced me I could easily do 500! Well we are 38 days from year end and i made 500! The holidays are upon us, school is in full swing ... BUT i am planning a few more cropping days so i am hoping for 550!

I have decided that basic grey just is not my style. There are some lines that i truly like and others not so much, on the not so much list is the Scarlett line, but i started this trip using those papers and will finish the trip so look for more creativity of how i dull down the wild paper!

Pages 489 - 494 New Mexico Trip July 2006

We went to New Mexico in July 2006 just to visit!
One of the agreements with Tim is that each time we go back to just visit is that we have to do something touristy! So this trip we rode the Sandia Tram! We drove up the long road to get to the tram and we were able to get some beautiful pictures of Albuquerque. Once at the Tram Station Tim bought our Flight tickets! Wanna guess which flight we were on? I am using the basic gray paper line scarlett that i bought at ckc!

This 2 page layout was the ascent to the top of the mountain! Look how small we are getting! YIKES!
