To help me along in my desire to scrap today i elected to do challenges. I got all these challenges from theshakerbox.com
CHALLENGE - 2
So now you've purchased all this Chipboard, Now what do you do with it??? We all have it, we want to use it, but how? Here are a few suggestions.....
1. Ink it! 2. Cover it with paper. Take your chipboard, trace around it with your patterned paper , cut it out, glue it on, stack it if you want or use further embellishments. 3. We are in LOVE with those glittered Chipboard pieces, but you have tons and tons of naked stuff, glue and glitter! Get your game on! Brush your CB with glue then sprinkle with Glitter! You've made your very own! and used your stash! Another Technique paint your chipboard and sprinkle your glitter on it while it is wet! 4. Paint it! Grab all that paint you have sitting there and use one, two or even four colors! You can also paint it, crackle it and paint it again to give it a wood look! What else can YOU think of to do with it? Go have fun! make your chipboard pieces , upload it to the gallery and link it back to here!
***I set eyelets in my chipboard!
CHALLENGE - 3
Ok, I have WAY too many tags hangin' around my place. So, I want to see them used in every way possible.I used 5 tags on this 2 page layout .. thanks to Karen for the awesome title!

CHALLENGE - 4
This challenge was to scraplift the person above you so i was not able to participate in this challenge
CHALLENGE - 5
We ALL have those things that we don't like to do when we scrapbook and craft, right? Whether we feel we "just don't do it as well as others" or whether we'd "rather get started on another project" (in my case, it's both!!) Anyway, your challenge is to pick at least 2 of the things in the list below that are not your favorite and put them on a layout, card, etc. This can be paper or digi! So here's your list to pick from: Journaling Titles Paint Using Old Stuff Blending Photo Effects Shaped Layouts Element Layering Mixing Colors
**I used a flower cut out some old square brads and an even older quote from my stash!
CHALLENGE - 6 Design your own kit and create as much as you can with what you got together! here are the rules for this challenge your kit must have the following: 3 sheets of cs 3 sheets of coordinating pp ribbon/ fiber (about 1 yard) 5 brads set of rubons ink from this homemade kit you can add anything in your stash but at least 75% of your creation must be from your kit!!! here are some ideas: LOs cards ATCs bookmarks altered items
CHALLENGE - 7 No matter how many times I see this in cards, LOs or altered items it always stands out to me!! Your challenge is to create a LO, card, ATC or altered item and use only Black and White as your base. You chose ONE color as the POP in the item!!!! The pop can be ink, brads, eyelets, ribbon, rubon.. you chose.. but only one other color for that Color POP!
this is an altered card. I bought a batch of cards from Michaels to use for my postcard swaps but they are a tad too short so i altered them for this challenge.

Pages 43 - 45 Big bear lake April 2007
Taking a tour on the Lake was awesome. The tour guide told us so many facts about the homes (the celebrities that inhabited them) the new homes being built (a software giant is building a 17 room house) the depth of the lake so so so many facts that i wish that i could regurgitate to you but i can't remember all of them.
This 2 page spread was created using a layout from a borrowed magazine from Rhonda called scrapbook blueprints! AWESOME magazine.
This is the solar observatory on the lake again so much to remember and i forgot it all. I did google about it which is what the journaling entails. The tag is from a swap (sorry ladies don't' remember which one funny thing is that i think it was a sea world swap) the acrylic is heidi grace.

Big Picture Scrapbooking - Challenge
GUESS WHAT you aren't too late to win a cool prize. In reading the boards today i found this really cool message:
I challenge each of my blog readers to join the challenge!
We have gotten many requests from folks who want to join the challenge late but are disappointed because they aren't eligible for the Grand Prize. So we are happy to introduct a NEW prize category -- the SUPER PRIZE! To be eligible for this prize you must complete and upload 31 layouts to the BPS gallery by 11:59 MST on January 31. In other words, if you join late and want to "catch up," you can complete and upload multiple layouts on a single day. As long as all 31 are uploaded by 11:59 MST on 1/31, you will be included in the Super Prize drawing. Note: People who are eligible for the Grand Prize drawing (those who have uploaded a layout each and every day) will be eligible for BOTH drawings. I know there will be questions about this -- please read the new improved FAQs (link above in the navigation bar) and ask them here.
