Week 26 June 26 - July 2

June 26 - a day to sleep in and a day to rest. We got up late and then headed to tom's farm ... awesome fruits and veggies and cool craft show and great home show and the wine store oh so much to do ... LOVE going to tom's farm. Home to tackle the laundry and cook dinner

June 27 -  a day to myself. I cooked dinner and then sat on the couch to watch secret life of an american teenager. Sorted the laundry and did the dishes not bad for a day's work

June 28 - work dragged today.

June 29 Cache addicts tonight :) love spending time with the great people that i have met on this journey. Tracey Ben and Dawn Lisa Derrick and Maddy all came to the event :) AWESOME time and grabbed the local letterbox Hybrid

June 30 Today was a bad medical day. Room spinning and flashing lights made me stay in bed today. Dad and Mikey came and picked up the chair and now my livingroom looks so big. So nice to have the extra room.

July 1 Ran a few errands after getting off work early for the 4th of july holiday. In running these errands i picked up a teenager that wanted to spend the weekend at my house :) So blessed that at 18 he still wants to hang out.

July 2 - Happy Birthday to my little brother. Today we hung around the house playing board games and video games and even took the time to watch derrick make us some BBQ'd hamburgers ... days with friends and family are the best.

Week 25 - June 19 - 25

June 19
Fathers Day was spent at home lounging around the house. Picking up a few things, BBQing steaks and staying in our Jammies ... MY HUSBAND is awesome

June 20
First day of summer! It is hot enough for it too LOL. Long day at work. Then home but before i get there i must stop by the store need a few things and have a few bucks .. no ATM card sure makes it rough .. but i am managing.  Home to make dinner and cut cut cut. smash smash smash avocados :)

June 21
Today has been an emotional day. Today Derrick learned that a dear friend Charlie took his own life. A life cut short. He had just graduated high school and was about to embark on his greatest journey. My heart aches for the family and for his friends that must live with the question WHY? Had to stop by the store tonight on the way home for some lettuce and when i got home i had begun to crash (blood sugar) i didn't sit down and let it happen i fought back which gives you a horrible headache, but i made dinner burritos and i cut and smashed 25 more avocados ... woot woo we are going to have guac for a long time ... i actually made some for tim :)

June 22
GA - Event Geo Cachers Anaymous. Love the monthly get togethers to talk about the hobby that i have truely come to enjoy. Had a great time. Excited that Derrick decided to come :)

June 24 still walking today we clocked the walk 3 laps around the apt complex is a little over a mile ... my goal is three times a week and tonight i cooked dinner for lisa and tim ... i even cleaned off the kitchen table ... WOOT WOO i feel good

June 25 Lets go caching. Yep a day of caching in fallbrook with tim, lisa and frank WOOT WOO .. let the fun roll

Week 24 - June 12 - 18

June 12

Avocado picking is what i did today, oh this was so much easier than strawberry picking and we had such a good time. Then we headed to the cache bash we were late but we still got to count it is a cache :) GO ME!!!

June 13
Ladies night Dinner, yep you guessed it we had dinner at Tracey's tonight. Great conversation and so many more mouths to feed as Tracey was babysitting.
This cold is sure making it a long week for me :(

June 14
WALK WALK WALK WALK -- it makes a fat person thin :)

June 15
Tonight is the full moon and this means that the grunion are back, so we are off, me, lisa, derrick and frank. We are going to dinner and off to catch a grunion or 100. Alas every beach we went to they were closed and we were unable to see the grunion :( WE did some caching and some laughing (at me as i sat huddled in the back of the van as they went over the bridges in long beach, thank god frank was driving i might have died)

June 16
Took today off to spend with derrick and recoop from the run last night as we got home at 2 am. We had a great time and better time this morning when a JAG Lawyer told us there is nothing that becky can do :)

June 17
Determined to do a grunion run we headed back to cabrillo beach. This time when we arrived there were really people there and we were in the right place. We paid our $5 and headed into the museum which was quit entertaining and then we headed into the museum for a very informative film on the grunion, then out to the beach where the bugs ate me alive!! But we got to see the grunion and that is why we went, Lisa was only able to grab one ... yes one little grunion but it was so much fun we might have to do it again :)

June 18
Suppose to cache and go to Jays graduation party, but with uncle tim's back being so sore, we opted to stay home. We didn't even shower to face the day until after five. He played video games and i scrapped what a great lazy day.

Week 23 - June 5 - 11

June 5  Slept in. Picked up lisa, headed to the PX and the commissary. Home to put away my good finds and make dinner and then to relax. Love days like this :)

June 6 Today i was feeling under the weather so i stayed home curled up with my pillow and blankie ... for a while i did manage to scrap :)

June 7 Today is Senior Awards night .. it is so bitter sweet i am so proud of all that derrick has accomplished but so sad to see him graduate!! went and bought his graduation present :) we gave him $100 bucks and 2 outfits

June 8 Today is the day .. i can't not crying!! I am so happy for derrick so i am not sure why i am crying. Everytime i think of the man he is becoming the tears poor from my eyes in both sadness and happiness. I am so proud of derrick... he ROCKS.. after receiving his diploma the kid in his own world jumped off the stage kicked his heels in the air in the excitement of graduating. I cried no tears as he walked across the stage ... i just beamed with pride .. CONGRATULATIONS DERRICK .. may you always walk with the zest of life that you showed today and may you accomplish so much in life :)

June 9 - walked the HILL .. i am attempting to get out of my rut and do some exercise :) thanks lisa for helping me :)

June 10 - Must hurry to finish the last minute things for the party tomorrow. Went to sams and walmart gave the stuff to diane and headed home. I managed to get 4 loads of laundry done and cleaned the kitchen stove (i made a mess)

June 11 Today is derricks graduation party and wouldn't you know it .. i had a vertigo attack so i was late :( ... i cried tonight as my sister thanked us for being a part of his life and he hugged me and thanked me for all we do .. Uncle tim cried too ... we cried more as we watched a video of him growing up and all those that have touched his life. Derrick is an amazing young man with nothing but the future ahead of him because of the awesome path that he has walked!

Week 22 - May 29 - June 4

May 29 - Up and out the door early headed to Camp Pendelton, but not before we do some caching. Have to show lisa my favorites :) then off to shop and look for a bbq but lisa has a good idea and tim is gg to try that idea out. Then off to the commissary and then to Anita's more caching and home to a bbq :)
May 30 - Wakey wakey at 4:30 to the car in the carport on fire. It was the upstairs neighbor, no damage to my car but damage to other cars and damage to the safety that we feel living there. Off to Ekstrom house for a bbq then home for laundry and cleaning :)

May 31 a day at work or is it a day of rest :)

June 1 This is the first wednesday of the month which means CACHE addicts. This time I had invited Tracey, Dawn, Ben and Lisa to come to the meeting as part of our monthly dinners. We had a great dinner and enjoyed some night caching.

June 2 quick day at work and then off to derrick's avid awards. I can't believe that he is graduating.

June 3 - Been a long week. Lisa went to AJ's graduation and it was not a good scene. We took a long lunch and then decided to meet for some caching fun after work. At about 10 pm after lots of DNF's we headed out for BACON :)

June 4 - Time for some cherries. So off to the cherry festival we head. We had hoped to stay and see air supply but after walking through the grounds twice, eating, people watching and discussing what to do next, we opted to leave and head out for geo caching and dinner. What an awesome day.

Week 21 ---- May 22 - 28

May 22 - Its my birthday .. yikes 40 .. picked up lisa and went to the commissary and then home to unpack and make dinner. Got loads of well wishes on facebook made me feel special.

May 23 --I was feeling pretty bad because hubby didn't give me a birthday present on sunday. :( He just kept acting like everything was normal, so i was a little depressed when i went to bed i mean after all who turns 40 and doesn't want a present. Feeling gloomy this morning when i woke up i decided to call into work ... i'll come in late :(  Well he walked me out to the truck and there was the most beautiful card and it brought tears to my eyes, when i noticed whati thought was a cell phone on the thing in the truck i picked it up to hand to him and he says HAPPY BIRTHDAY ... he had a kenmore radio system installed in my truck on sat and since we drove his car yesterday i had no reason to get into the truck ... OHHHHHHHHHH i knew he didn't forget ... IT ROCKS and now i can rock toby :)

May 24 Today is lisa's birthday and since her sister saw it fit to cancel her visitation, we (tracey and I) decided that she should not sit home and stew so we went to Joes for taco tuesday and friendship. Her dad and step mom showed up, frank, calvin, tracey, dawn, ben, tim, ahab, and a few more, we were at the bar until midnight ... what a great celebration for lisa.

May 25 Worked today and then made my weekly walk around challen hill today with tracey and ben. Tracey really pushed me this time, i actually sweated and jogged ... oh yeah what a good feeling.

May 26 nothing exciting in life today, just home and some cleaning and some much needed rest :)

May 27 AH work until 3 then off to the bank and to my sisters for my birthday dinner and to pick up nicole.

May 28 Spent the afternoon at the chili festival in riverside, who knew that there were that many different kinds of chili and that i would actually like some of them. I visited the vendor booths and spent a few dollars and then we saw all the old cars but not before a marshmellow gun was purchased ... YEAH the fun we are going to have with this one.

Week 20 May 15 - 21

May 15 - Woke up with a horrible headache. Tim was awesome and made breakfast while i napped. Headache isn't gone but i am trying to stay awake. Today we (myself and Lisa) planned the makings of a rocking garden. I am so excited i have always wanted a garden :)

May 16 - Audiology appointement (ugh it always gives me a headache). I don't have to go back for 2 years it is great to be able to control my problems.

May 17 - GA Event at Tom's farm. Love that place took lisa with me. she is no longer a geocaching virgin. She had a great time. We had a blast showing her the brain on drugs cache.

May 18 Dinner with great friends :) Tracey and Dawn made us (me and lisa) sketti, salad, garlic bread and a chocolate cake. Friends rock

May 19 - Met lisa at challen park. Brought us dinner which we ate and then headed out to walk walk walk, yep i am walking these days .. i will win the obesity name!

May 20 - Dinner with new friends to celebrate our May birthdays. Dinner with Gail and Cindy at the Olive Garden is a great way to end the work week. Great food and great friends. After dinner i headed to my sisters for some cake pop making and friendship with family :)

May 21 - Slept in late and off to pick up lisa and met Frank at cindy's house for an awesome day of caching in palm springs. A first for lisa. It was super hot out there ... look for pictures soon

Week 19 - May 8 - 14

May 8 - slept in an packed up and headed home. WOW the wind was something else ... so scary i was afraid to drive. When we hit yermo honey decided that we could do a cache or two. UGH it ended up with a horrible hike to a cache called RIP yermo.
Home to a nice hot shower and movies :)

May 9 - another work week. It is awesome i have a job but i sure would like to be retired.

May 10 - frank texted he had extra tickets to the angel game ... guess where i went today YEP the angel game. It was wrestling mask night and they did a thing to get in the Guinness book of world records for the most people in the same place wearing a wrestling mask :) and the Angels won!

May 11 - today found out bank put a hold on my payroll check!!! YIKES super stressed got money in account but too stressed to do anything so i went to bed.

May 12 - after a 16 hour fast i did my lab work and learned that my A1C went down to 7.0 and slowly my cholesterol meds are working because those numbers are going down, however scary reports on the kidney's. Have to make appt with the dr to discuss. I did 4 loads of laundry, cleaned the bathroom and changed the sheets on the bed (nice to get work done at home)

May 13 - no Joe today so little work was done. I made a BLT pizza at home. It was tasty and i was able to share with the neighbor :)

May 14 Went with tim to get hearing aides adjusted. It is so awesome that he can hear so well know.  Went to Dianes for Derricks cap and gown photo shoot and senior pix shoot. I think i got 5 good shots out of over 100 so not to shabby. Then we had an awesome turkey dinner. Home to relax with the awesome man i married 3 years ago :) He is so good to me :)

Week 18 May 1 - 7

May 1
Oh sunday how i love thee. Getting in super late last night more like early this morning after getting all the kids home from the prom sure made me tired. So today i slept and napped and slept and napped and well i think i ate some but went to bed by 9 ... i guess late nights are not my thing anymore :)

May 2
Today was the anniversary of V's death :( Tim took today off to be alone but that just didn't work out. We got a call from Dee Dee that Sonia was being released from west valley so we went and sat in the parking lot until she was released. we fed her, allowed her to shower and she went right to sleep. so many thoughts and emotions from the night ... think i will just go to bed :)

May 3
Tim took today off to be with Sonia. after work the 3 of us plus Lisa headed to the yacht club with frank and Calvin for some relaxation before the big event. Dinner at Hofs hut and then to seal beach for grunions ... sadly we saw no grunions but we did find a lot of debris. But we had a wonderful time.

May 4
I took today off to go with Luis Sonia and Isaiah to the beach. We drove down to balboa beach. Little man was so fascinated with the beach. He just didn't want to leave.  We enjoyed milkshakes and french fries from ruby's on the pier :) Sad way for family to come but oh so much fun :)

May 5 WORK WORK WORK and then ready stuff to leave for Primm for a weekend of caching and hanging out with my favorite guy.

May 6
AHHHH sleep was eluding me due to the pain in my leg. But alas some muscle relaxers and i slept for hours.  We missed caching in the mojave preserve but we did cache in jean up near the prison. We got 14 caches and did some minor off roading. I love spending time with tim :)

May 7
Up and going early. We decided to cache the states we got about 75 caches before the heat and the excessive walking took its toll on us. We headed to boulder had dinner at cheese cake factory then back to the room for some more sleep.

Week 17 April 24 - 30

April 24
Easter Sunday. Up and made hubby breakfast he got up before i could serve it in bed :(
went to sisters and had an egg hunt :) dinner played milebornes with derrick and maddy spinning tops with devontae and kelsie and then home to relax and watch movies with my best friend :)

April 25
AHHHHHHH monday how i love monday night TV. However i have a new TV rule! If i sit and watch tv then i must do sit ups on the commercials ...wow 100 sit ups later my stomach is killing me :) Tonight was also dinner at Traceys ... there is nothing better than cooking and sharing a meal with friends

April 26
I COOKED .. yep after a long day at the office i made hamburger patties (so i could eat the bbq sauce we bought at the flower fields) and mashed taters (made with olive oil) and corn and garlic bread :) YUMMY. i uploaded all my pages that are done for the yr and i also scrapped 3 new pages that i will post later .. feels good to be busy again

April 27
Dinner with friends is always nice. It truly makes the day at work go faster as i have something to look forward too. I had dinner with Cindy and Frank at Don Joses. Cindy was so kind she had a big sign made for the GA events and bought me a book. A cup of coffee with the girls. :)

TOOTHACHEs are the worst and the worst part is the tooth has a root canal so i should not feel anything .. but i do and it SUCKS!

April 29
OH MY the prom is tomorrow i have nothing to wear ... oh wait i am a photographer i don't have to be snazzy just comfy. Excited for the kids. Today honey came home from work early and we went to a late dinner it is so awesome to spend time with him :) I got a box in the mail today from a great friend tracie. She sent me so many goodies so thoughtful and so unexpected :) nice surprises are the best.

April 30
Its PROM 2011- I am taking the kids to the prom. I am the photographer and tim is the chauffeur. We have Maddy, Derrick and Jay in our car. I took over 300 pictures. The kids looked great. I will post pictures in a few days.. I am just so blessed to be a part of a night that they will forever remember.

Week 16 - April 17 - 22

April 17 - Today was overcast and a little on the cloudy side but that did not slow us down. We headed out to Carlsbad to see the awesomeness of The Flower Fields. What a great site. We grabbed some caches and went to dinner what a great day to spend with my hubby :)

April 18 - Not sure what is wrong but the stomach thing has me beat. I did not manage to do anything today except sleep. Woke up after sleeping and watched the late airing of the secret life of the American teenager and make it or break it. UGH i wish this would go away.

April 19 AH slept in late boss is in Hawaii and taxes are done :) I still got that stomach bug not sure what is going on but i know that i am tired of it. Tonight is all about laundry. I managed a mere 4 loads but that means i am 4 loads closer to see the basket :)

April 20 TODAY KELSIE turns 9 .. i am not sure who told her it was okay to get big and have birthdays but that person needs to stop. I picked up maddy after work and we headed over for toastadas, cake and presents :)

April 21
Still not feeling 100% but yes i am feeling better. I managed 4 loads of laundry and parking myself on the couch for a while.

April 22
Ah off early today and feeling better. I managed to get the rest of the easter basket shopping completed. Went to the commissary and had lunch with my sister.

April 23
Up and out the door bright and early today. A tad nervous as i am taking my truck off the paved road for the first time today :) i can do this. We got about 75 caches on palomar mountain. A great day of caching :)

Week 15 a day in the life April 10 - April 16

April 10
Went to bed super early last night, yet i still managed to sleep in :) Got up to Jo Jo coming. We got some flowers done, my hair is no longer needed a root color and cut.

April 11
AHHH MONDAY NIGHT TV .. yep i don't like monday night football but i do enjoy monday night tv this time of year. Make it or Break it is back on as is The Secret life of an American Teenager. So after my busy day at the office i headed home to assume the spot on the couch with  a bowl of fruitty pebbles and the remote .. great time :)

April 12
Not really feeling up to hanging out with anyone. Went to work, ate chips and salsa for dinner, started reading dr phil and watched a new NCIS .. nothing terribly exciting but it is a great life :)

April 13
YEAH tonight is my event at portillo's. I need a geo caching fix :) Went to the event met some new friends and talked to some old friends and then grabbed 9 caches and did maintenance on 2 of mine :)

April 14
Today is work as usual and tonight is all about the laundry before i end up going to work nude i must wash some clothes :)

April 15
Well life is too short so live it to the fullest. When frank texted about going to the bowling alley tonight i hesitated and then decided GO FOR IT!... we had a great time so many laughs and so many new friends

April 16
Today we celebrated Kelsies birthday with her and 25 of her closest friends. Who knew that having a sleep over was so much work. Thank goodness for the inventor of the hula hoop and my brain. I was able to pull out some crazy hula hoop games to keep the children entertained. Kelsie and friends had a great time.

Week 14 - April 3 - 9

April 3 - Hanging out at home on the air mattress was a great way to start the day. Made Tim breakfast and got a late start for going to the CMA fondue party. Oh what fun we had even if the the CMA's started much later than we had thought.

Just hung out at home and went to bed early .. yikes i must be getting old

April 5 - Got up way to early because they are turning off the hot water for my apt complex and it looks like i am gg to be finding a place to spend the night because they are leaving it off until tomorrow .. they are replacing the hot water heater ughhhhhhh

April 6 - Woke up late for work, horrible bed that we slept on the shower wasn't great today is not my day!  After work i decided that it was okay to go to the geo caching event and then we headed out for a cache .. UGH we didn't find it .. home to a hot shower and my bed :)

April 7 WOWSA got up early today ... GOOOOOOOO ME .. made it to the office early so that i can leave and make do some laundry so that i can go play this weekend :)

April 8 I am so stressed thinking that the federal government is going to close and tim is not going to get a paycheck and we are going to be in all kinds of trouble that i have made myself sick :( I stayed home from work. Went to dinner and grabbed a few caches with Cindy.  Yeah for friends to talk to.

April 9 YIKES who gets up at 5 am .. me why you ask so that i can go to the dessert and geocache. We grabbed about 40 caches no DNF's and I forced myself to hike some yuckky hills and mountains to help grab caches :)

Week 13 - March 27 - April 2

March 27 - AHHHHH another morning waking up at the river. I can not thank Kris and Randy enough for allowing me the pleasure of using the house for 4 of the most relaxing days of March!!! We got a late start but did some desert caching (loads of DNF's) and we even made a trip to oatman arizona (this town deserves its own post) :)

March 28 The river view in the morning is SPECTAULAR!!! an even later start this morning to our caching adventure. We did the other side of Bullhead city today and had much better luck with our numbers :) What a great day to be alive and enjoying the desert with my favorite person TIM ... and some really cool friends, cindy, mike and gail

March 29 AH today is my last day at the river the morning was rushed but ahhhhhhhh such is life. We loaded the truck, readied the house for the next visitors and headed out with a tear in my eye as i am just not ready to go home! We did some caching on our way out!  SAW a snake for the first time while out caching .. yes a big rattlesnack and it was 90 feet long and 20 feet round and was about to strike and we barely escaped with our lives ... at least that is how i am telling it ... (see another post for the real picture) we headed home tim and i hung back from the group and did some more caching :) So excited to spend time with him as he was gone for 2 weeks

March 30 - Ah back to work day .. UGH not so fun so much to do but the good news is that Joe left early and i can do this work at my speed.

March 31 - So so so wish i was retired. Work, work, work, ugh but i guess i gotta do it to pay the bills. Today i finished logging the caches from the time at the river .. ohhhhhhhhhhh how i wish i was retired.

April 1 - Today was boring at work .. BORING ... the caches out there were calling me so i hit the road picked up derrick and maddy and went caching .. but instead i found some mud puddles and made my truck DIRTY!!! It was so much fun. Got my first FTF today .. harville trees .. yeah so excited. Picked up Taylor and went to dinner, then home to camp in the livingroom ... GREAT DAY :)

April 2 - Slept in a bit, made breakfast for tim and then the 3 of us hit the cache road to the bowling alley. It was great fun. Taylor bowled a 65!!!

Week 12 A week in review

March 20 Well tim headed back to San Diego today i am so proud that he passed the first part of his hazzmat school. We slept in late, did some vegetable and fruit shopping and then i headed to dinner with Michelle and Jim and the kids and Erica showed up .. GREAT FUN!!!

March 21 - Another day at the office but that is okay ... why because this weekend i am headed to the river for 5 nights and 4 days ... rest relaxation and CACHING .. so will i rest or relax probably not but it will be fun. I did loads of laundry and hung out at home tonight. Tonight i figured since non of my friends are going with me this weekend i had better figure out how to load the GPS :) I DID IT!!!! thank you cindy for the AWESOME directions.

March 22 - Took Frank out for his birthday :) Happy 30th birthday my friend (i think he is really 40 but we just want to stay 30). Had a great time at Don Joses with Frank and Cindy and then we decided to go get the lucky duckie cache (it eluded us the weekend before) tonight we got it and that led to more caching and for me to discover that i had left my GPS at the restaurant. Some honest soul turned it in ... THANK goodness for honest PEOPLE

March 23 WORK .. must get so much done so that i can leave on friday! UGH

March 24 Dinner with friends (TRACEY, LISA, and DAWN) sure has become the highlight of the month for me. We could have top ramen and i would still come back again. Calling it girl therapy is more accurate than dinner. These are some of my favorite nights. Thanks Tracey for starting them :)

March 25 - Quick day at work!! Waiting for tim's call so that i can go home and pack the truck and head to the river!!! Got a later start than i wanted but the truck is packed errands are run que is loaded and off to the river i go :) WE GO!!!!! did some caching before arriving there ... and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY PARENTS!!!!! 43 yrs is quite the accomplishment

March 26 AHHHHHHHHH to wake up the sunsetting on the colorado river is AWESOME. slow start to the day but that is quite okay. Love the lazy days of cooking breakfast with tim and just enjoying each other's company. We went and bought a few more things at the store and then did some caching .. I PUT MY TRUCK in 4 wheel drive for the first time nervous and scared but I DID IT!!!!!

WEEK 11 - a day in the life

March 13 - today was a quiet day around the house. Tim left for san diego for hazzmatt school for 2 weeks. I took a nap and did a little computer clean up and slept some more.

March 14 - Just another all around day! The usual work, home and sleep!

March 15 Got a text today that some friends from high school were looking for a place to hang out. I suggested Joes and that is where we headed :) What a great night reminicings with old friends and mending the bridges that time has put between us. Michelle Ramos, Jamie, Lisa Cross, Mike Hundley, Robert,

March 16 Nice day at the office. Went to the GA Event after work it was at Farmer Boys Woodcrest. It was so nice to sit on the pation talk shop and see so many new faces :) After the event we went caching which is alway so much fun :) Derrick even made an appearance :)

March 17 With tim being gone i haven't been able to sleep very well between that and the leg cramps it was a horrible night. So i took a pain pill and slept until noon, and i did make it into the office at about 2 and BOY did i work hard :) Thank god for understanding bosses.

March 18  YIKES late morning nothing seems to go my way, the truck is low on gas, the bank says i have no money, have to spend time away from the office UGH UGH UGH. Blood sugars tanked. But the good news is that tim came home tonight. We took a nap and then headed to the bar! It was great to meet up with Lisa, Michelle, Jim, Lani, Robert and his wife, Laura and her husband, Mellie and her husband and a few more that i can't quite remember. It is so fun to go back in time :)

March 19  - Early morning FLASH MOB at the Farmer Boys in Fontana, it was wet and cold but die hard cachers always show up :) Met some new cachers and talked shop before heading out to the caching trails with Frank, Rebecca and Cindy. Grabbed 39 caches before calling it a day :)

Week 10

March 6 Lazy days and sunday's rock. I got up made breakfast, ran to Joanns and found some awesome deals then off to learn to fold flowers and take nicole home :) Busy yet slow and great day :)

March 7 Monday's are always painful. I have decided that I MUST and I CAN lose weight so i packed up all my gym stuff and loaded it in the truck so after camera class i will be going to the gym.

March 8 Nice day at work got loads accomplished. After work i headed to Johnny's tacos for the results of the travel bug race. YEAH i won farthest north and $35 bucks. Went to the gym :) LIFE IS GOOD!

March 9 Today was a good day. Hubby took me to work and Cindy picked me up so we could go to the travel bug race event in Temecula. After submitting my bug for the race and sharing pizza and stories we headed out for some caches :) Life is good.

March 10 Today was a good day. I did my time at work and then headed over to Tracey's to have dinner with some great friends. How fun it is to kindle old friendships and start new ones .. i am truly blessed. It is also pretty darn cool to eat a home cooked meal every now and then :) I made it to the gym :) YEP I MADE IT to the gym this makes 3 days this week and that was my goal.

March 11 Today was slow. Work was so slow and i was sleepy but i managed my 8 hours and then off to do errands. Got them done, grabbed taco bell for dinner and went home to sit and put my feet up it has been a long week. (Met miss clariol tonight)

March 12 Up early on a weekend really has never been my style but i have realized if you want to go caching this is a MUST :)  Went to the 4x4 flash mob and then headed out caching i think i picked up 10 more and then off to my sisters for a BBQ :) it was fun and i worked on the flowers for the center pieces for the dinners jo jo is having for fundraising efforts for WALK FOR THE CURE :)

Week 9 a day in the life

Feb 27 YUMA baby yes we are in Yuma, after a slow start and a misguided GPS we made it to the bombing range and grabbed 40 caches :)

Feb 28 - Another day in YUMA woot woo we did a little caching and went to the prison museum and a museum that says you are standing in the center of the world.

March 1 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR MICHELLE DEAN EKSTROM may your 6th birthday be as exciting as the day you were born :) Today i took taylor out to dinner for her special birthday dinner. We went to the olive garden

March 2 Today i stayed home. I really didn't do much. I sat around and watched television and put a few things away

March 3 Went back to work today. It was overly stressful but i managed to work my way through the whole day. Cindy was a lifesaver and invited me out to dinner. After dinner i headed to Kaiser weight management classes. I need a jump start to losing weight.

March 4 Today was a better day at work. I spent the entire day at Marla's then headed to my sisters. I took kelsie to KFC. In her mind this was the first time that she had ever been to a KFC. It was a good night

March 5 - Today was a home day. I went to Taylors softball game (late :( ) and then nicole and devontae came home with us. Before coming home we did some much needed grocery shopping at the commissary and a quick trip to tom's farm to buy some vegetables. I got all the bathroom stuff where it needed to be :)

Week 8 a day in the life

Feb 20. WOW I woke up in San Diego again but the dream is coming to an end i have to go home today. But not before i get more scrapping done and have lunch with some pretty awesome friends (kim and jojo)
My awesome husband fixed my truck and let me nap when i got home. I am truly blessed in so many areas of my life.Before leaving San Diego i was able to grab a few caches ... woot woo my favorite things all in one day, hubby, friends, scrapping and caching :)

Feb 21 - Tim is off today :) yeah for him boo for me :( as i have to work. But he is an awesome hubby and came and took me out to lunch. Gotta love spending time with him he is the best! Then after work i headed to camera / photography group. My first meeting. It was a lot of fun very informative, however i feel very under accessorized. We learned how to shoot a panaromic picture and then stitch it together :)

Feb 22 My second event. How nice it was of Joe to let me go early and i was able to get to the event and gas up before-hand and grab a lot of fresh veggies and fruit. During the event i surprised derrick with cupcakes and a happy birthday song. After the event we went out caching :)

Feb 23 Worked 8 hours and then headed to dinner with Tracey, Mom, Ben and Lisa. Great times and great conversation. She fed us spaghetti taco's I was very apprenshive but i still tried them and i discovered that i didn't like them. No fear tracey rocked and fed me reg tacos. After dinner we talked about old times and looked at yearbooks. Can't wait until we have dinner again :)

Feb 24 HAPPY BIRTHDAY VICENTE MICHAEL MARTINEZ (i love you; we love you; daddy loves you). After work i went to pat and oscars for dinner and a night of caching with frank and cindy. It is so nice and relaxing to cache after the day that i had.

Feb 25 Worked 6 hours then headed to the podiartist. WOW WOW WOW that is some serious pain. The most pain i have ever had. He pulled out 2 ingrown toenails OMG OMG OMG that is the worst pain that i have ever felt in my life. The good news is that the pain will go away and my feet might just get better.

Feb 26 Headed out to yuma to go to a few out of state geo caching events and then to the bombing range to do some serious caching. We cached our way to yuma grabbing 9 caches and then the event. This year i have exceeded my caching goal for the year and it is awesome that i will be able to keep it up :)

Week 7

Feb 13 - A lazy day at home. It was nice to sleep in late and then make breakfast and dinner with tim and do a little sleeping and a little scrapping.

Feb 14 I love my husband not just today but 364 other days of the yr :) He brought me home flowers and a beautiful card and a promise to help me fix my truck .. true love. He was home sick today so my plans for valentines day surprise for him fell through. The good news is that whatever rash he has is not contagious bad news he will be home for a few days while he sleeps it off.

Feb 15 Tim is still home today. He is feeling a little better and the rash looks like it is going away. By him being home tonight we were able to go to the geo caching event together. Yes today he sees all the wonder the dorky things his wife does while he is at work. It was a great event and got some caches and a donut and spent time with tim .. what more could i ask for.

Feb 16 Time went back to work just in time for me to rush through all my chores and to do lists so that i can go to the scrappin retreat in san diego, laundry is being done and shopping is done and working on finishing packing ... i am finally allowing myself to get excited about the weekend.

Feb 17 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DERRICK!! today he turns 18 seems like yesterday he was born and i was watching the triplets and tami.I seem to be very emotional about this birthday :( I am very very very proud of derrick and the goals that he has set for his life :) . Went to my sisters house to celebrate derricks birthday with spaghetti and ice cream and some gifts (will post pictures later)

Feb 18  Today is SCRAP DAY and my sisters birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANE. Sadly i miss her birthday dinner but i gave her the present we bought for her last night. I am off to san diego with Kim and Jo Jo for a weekend of girl bonding and scrapping. We made several pit stops on the way to the hotel at walmarts and scrap stores spending too much money on stuff i "had to have" yes i "needed it" LOL
I did some pages once we got there. It was so fun to see Naomi and Mable and meet new friends and see leti .. i think that i am over stimulated and should go to bed but sleeping without tim is a hard thing so good night :)

Feb 19 - WOW i woke up in san diego at a hotel for scrapping ... it wasn't a dream i am really here .. 60 hours of crop time a goal od 100 pages plus. I finished a total of 71 pages so far a little disappointed in myself but i should learn to talk less and scrap more.
