Blog Ring Week 7

I've never been more scared than.....

There have been many times in my life where I have been scared and couldn't imagine continuing on in life.

The death of each of my grandparents, my cousin, my aunts, Roger, my friends. With the death of each one I was scared to my wits end, what was I going to do and how was I going to make it in life without these people.

I was scared when I quit my job in daycare to tackle the corporate world. The fear of will I be good enough and will I make it scared me.

But I have to say that my all time GREATEST scare is losing one of my parents.

What seems like another life time ago, I got that dreaded call in the middle of the night, you know the one, mom is on the way to the hospital. You jump out of bed and put on clothes only to realize that they don't match, and you can't find the brush, ah who needs it pull it back and run to the car only to realize that ^%_&*(*&_)%^ you have no gas! I drove about 95 miles an hr in Tims car to the hospital that night, to see my mom hooked to every machine that one could imagine. I spent a large portion of my night in the hospital church! My mom survived this heart attack and has only given us one scare since then.

My Dad scared the tarnations out of us several years ago. Dad had to have a life saving surgery and didn't want to. My then 6 year old nephew talked him into the surgery! Thank the good lord for children. Awesome doctors and even better medicine. Dad walks with a proesthetic leg but he is still here among us!

So I have never been more scared than when I thought that I was going to lose one of my parents forever!
