STUDIO INDULGENCES!

Well, i have thought long and hard about this topic, and the thing that i can not live without the most in my work area (studio) is sound. I love to have the TV on, the radio on, or even a DVD playing on the computer, yes i can not live without noise!
I work to the beat of the noise, if it is fast i move fast, if it is slow i am slow, if the movie is sad and weepy i tend to scrap sad events, if i am jamming to TOBY or GEORGE or KENNY then the pages are fun and full of excitement.

Oh that's funny! Because one of my indulgences in my studio is silence! I have three (teenage) boys, and my studio is my one escape! I hardly ever use my stereo!
On days when the rest of my life is hectic, I like silence. But if life has been too quiet for a while, then I like to have music going. :)
You reminded me of another indulgence. I get to pick whether or not the ipod is playing, tv is on or complete silence. With 2 kids that doesn't happen anywhere else except in my studio!
I thought of my music, too! But I used it for another PhotoFriday topic, and did not want to get redundant. Plus, my little boombox and stack of cds does not take up AN ENTIRE WALL like my other studio indulgence does!

I love the noise when i am scrapping but maybe that is because i work in silence all day!
Personally I can take or leave the noise, like these ladies having children...silence sometimes makes me work more efficiently because I can concentrate! However, I do like my tunes so if I were scrapping with some of my pals, music is a great sound!
How funny! I usually scrap without noise, and if I scrap with my friends, even less noise!!! I like to chat if I have a friend around, and the music totally throws me off balance!
