In searching for something strange - well here is what i came up with!
This is a gorgeous picture taken of Big Bear Lake. In the background is yes you guessed it SKI SLOPES. I believe it is snow summit. So, to me it is strange to think that this picture was taken in Sept and within a short few months this same location would elude a totally different picture, it would have snow covering the trees and people racing down the brown patches!

You really take some wonderful landscape pictures! I wish I had that kind of breath-taking beauty to look at within an hour or two's drive...I'm not liking the midwest very much; too flat and boring!
AAAAAH! NOW I UNDERSTAND!!!! I usually understand your pics for these challenges right away, but this time, I did need the explaining. Then again, Mexican BLonde, here!
