A delicious experience on San Diego Bay

We spent the evening in SAN DIEGO, with some wonderful friends; Mike and Lori . The event their 5th wedding anniversary!
ENJOY THE SCENES FROM SAN DIEGO

the view opposite the bay

We took a dinner cruise on the San Diego Bay aboard the Hornblower "Lord".

Mike and Lori (preboarding)

We boarded the Yacht to a glass of chilled champagne.

Our table as all others on the yacht was near a window so that we could see the marvelous San Diego Bay. SEE PICTURES ABOVE!

We ordered drinks and appetizers
(i ordered something called walk the plank and I drank on that drink all night!! WOW is all i can say on that!) Appetizers were chilled jumbo shrimp with a side of spicy Creole cocktail sauce (for the men)

and a cheese platter (for the ladies) by the way i didn't know that there were that many variations of cheeses!
These items were served before the ship set sail .... so once finished we sauntered around the ship!Sorry no pictures of the gals (i was laughing and my mouth was wide open yucky picture)

Once out to sea they started dinner:
Menu was
FIRST COURSE: "The Signature Salad" crisp tender Greens infused with a bounty of color and flavors lightly dressed with an aromatic vinaigrette with a freshly baked Parmesan reggiano herb crouton!
SECOND COURSE "The Captain's Duet" Prime cut flat iron steak finished with a savory compound butter black truffles and a blend of four peppercorns and a touch of Veal Demi Grace and Roasted Breast of Chicken finished with aged balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil
Served with Potatoes Du Jour ; sauteed of the season's colorful vegetable medley and freshly baked rustic bread and butter:
FINALE:
The Pastry Chef's Cheesecake Creation finished with chambord berry coulis and Chantilly cream.
The room was filled with live music and happy people! We had an awesome time!
