Pages 185 - 188 - Sequoia

Well ladies and gentlemen i am still not done with the Sequoia pictures but i am making progress. Sadly though i don't think that i will get another chance to scrap this weekend. I am going to met Kathy Carr this weekend and we are going to San Diego to celebrate some dear friends wedding anniversary on Saturday and then out to see Kathy again on Sunday!
WOW i am tired thinking of my weekend!
But i just keep thinking of all the PICTURES that I am going to get!

Okay so after i finished this layout I told Tracie at least it isn't a tree ... LOL it is a BUSH .. a mountain dogwood bush/tree. Sketch used is from Lissa's Sketch it Blog, thanks LISSA!
The TENNESSEE tree page is also courtesy of LISSA's sketches. I am finding that I really like them, so Lissa please keep them coming.
These are random pictures of the WUKSACHI lodge where we stayed. Again sketch was courtesy of LISSA's sketches .. check it out there are some awesome sketches.
I also wanted to share that many of these layouts tonight were made by using the scrap paper that I have been collecting when making the other pages this week so not only did I scrap I cleaned! Now that should make Tim Happy! (speaking of making Tim happy I have some news to share with everyone but will save for another blog entry). I used doodle bug buttons ... gotta love their line~!

This page, I want to share with you all that I turned around and told myself I am going to use the first piece of paper that I can find that is green and blue ... well do you see this paper, it is LOUD, but i was able to tune it done by using some solid colors! I have no idea what tree this is, but it so fit JOHN MUIRS 1877 quote
"IN EVERY WALK WITH NATURE one received for more than he seeks"

I had the most awesome experience of my life walking among the trees~!

Thanks so much!
