Heather's Baby Shower -

Today was Heather's baby shower .. she is looking so pregnant these days .. So with the new bundle of joy due soon we needed a reason to get together and have a party so i wrote invites heather sent, i planned a menu (yes i cooked) Rhonda was suppose to come help me with the cooking but OH OH OH the winds at 80 miles an hr were too much for me to ask her to drive a jeep on California freeways .. so i braved the food cooking all by myself and as of yet no one has died so i think we are okay! SO you think that you missed the baby shower well here is a recap and it includes pictures! Here is Friend HEATHER and the BABY ... she isn't' going to find out the sex of the baby so this made it HARD HARD TO SHOP ... My cake thanks to RHONDA was a devils food cake with caramel syrup poured on while hot and pecans too then when cooled a tub of whip cream and shaved Hershey bars! My second cake is not edible as it is made from diapers it made a great centerpiece! (thanks sis for helping me out with this one)
We had some awesome chicken salad with snow peas, blueberries, raspberry dressing, homemade foccacia bread! (SEE I CAN COOK .. shhhhh thanks Rhonda for all the recipes and advice) GAME TIME we played 5 games. Jill won how many skittles were in the bottle she was within 10 ... THAT was awesome JILL great job! Ross will enjoy the skittles and the baby the bottle ... Jill will enjoy the ENTIRE bag of skittles (i think she will share with the kids as they are on a road trip this coming week) GAME 2 whats in the diaper! There were 5 and each one had a different CANDY in them ... WONDER if these ladies will ever look at diapers the same way again .. WHAT good sports huh !!! It was a draw BTW each lady got one!





GAME 3 is draw a baby on your head .... (i don't have a picture of the winner) Jill WON ... wow she is 2 for 2

Game 4 GUESS what the white stuff in the baggie is ... again this game was a draw each lady got one right! (items that were included were flour, baby powder; formula (can't remember the others)

GAME 5 take the safety pin between you legs walk a short distance and drop it in the baby bottle! As all the games except the skittles in the bottle and the baby drawing were a draw each lady got to chose 2 prizes from the box for their awesome participation in smelling diapers, squatting and playing with white stuff!
THEN present time! She got some wonderful POOH gifts! Anna Marie, made this really cool clothesline completely filled with baby stuff! (Look out friends who are expecting babies i am so going to do this ... wont it compliment my diaper cake nicely)
