Pages 362 - 370! Big Bear and I DID IT!

I did it ... i met my goal and not only did i met it i SURPASSED it and it is only Oct. I still have three months of scrapping left this year! I am very proud of myself! Thanks for all who looked and helped to keep me motivated this yr. These 9 layouts were done using page kits that were intended for CKC. I used them tonight along with Grey's Anatomy streamlining on the computer! These 9 layouts all were done using sketches!
The first one title primitive adventure (don't those letters rock! They are lil davis). The pictures are of the boys taking down their tent and packing to go home! Thanks to Trisha for the tent and jodie for the karen foster quotes!

Page 2 is DERRICK, these pictures were all taken near the Big Bear Dam (can't remember which days) We hiked down the rocks to get a better view for fishing .. not that they caught much huh .. LOL . Thanks Elaine for the diecut letters with eyelets!

Page 3 is Tim and I at the dam! I can't believe that i trusted those boys with my camera so near the water and the rocks!~ Thanks Elaine for ALL Of the names that appear on these pages!

Page 4 is cody at the rocks! He had a brace on his hand, however he did not let that stop him from jumping rock to rock and trying to give me a heart attack!

Page 5 is cody fishing! What can i say i have a bunch of photos of Cody as he was the only one that caught anything ... The rubons are Karen Foster - i would like to say how awesome and easy they were to use no mess and to think that they only cost a BUCK ... gotta love a bargain!

Pages 6 and 7 are tim fishing ... he loves to fish doesn't do much of it but talks about it a lot ... he looks so natural out there holding that pole and waiting .. that man has patience that i do not! I also want to share that shortly after these photos Tim slipped and almost ended up in the lake himself! This was not a camping trip with hikin and fishing but a weekend of opps and ahhhhhhhhs and OUCHS!

You see Derrick fell in the lake, i burnt myself on the fire ring, tim slide down the rocks and well cody he came injured!

Page 8 is hiking on the trail signs 9 and 10!

As i mentioned before each one of the markers corresponded with a blurb on the map ... it was neat to read and understand what we were looking at. I also want to comment that i was worried about the boys not liking the letterboxing expedition, but they loved to tell us where to go and even signed there own names in the books and happily stamped on the pages so that i could scrap.
