Yes ladies and gentlemen this is Derrick, with a nice shiner ... (that black eye looks like it hurts huh)You see Derrick is on the freshman baseball team at Canyon Springs, while playing outfield on Thursday the sun was shinning and the wind was blowing, a young man from the other team hit a pop fly, Derrick maneuvered himself to the correct location and waited for the ball when what do you think happened ... yes you guess it! The WIND made the ball go in a different direction looking into the sunlight Derrick lost the ball ... and then the ball found Derrick, right in the eye, there was no shielding this ball no deflection from the glove, it was BAM STRAIGHT into the eye.
Can we say ouch ...
Poor guy!
He is okay today and he can see!

Wow! That looks almost swollen to the size of the ball!
Glad he's ok and he can see well, it could've turned out worse.
