Taylor is playing in the
prepony league as she is so little ... at 3 though she is determined that she wants to play ball. So auntie busted out the checkbook and said lets go.

Most of the season has been instructional ball and today was their first last and only game. Every child got to hit the ball and run all the bases. They all played in the field and had a great time. A parent or adult has to go out on the field with each child.

Derrick went out on the field with Taylor. Taylor in the last inning decided she had enough and sat it out! I
don't' think having this game after

Trick or treat was the best idea. Taylor proudly catches the ball with her left hand and throws right but busts a move with her bat on the left side ... this makes for a very
versatile player. She runs the bases as slow as Derrick and I but without fear (as I have) she happily slide into home plate and got dirty.

She said if she isn't dirty then she really didn't play. Each ball player got a medal and a pin to proudly wear. Snack was juice
hot dogs and a cupcake with Blue icing!

If you ask Taylor why she got a medal it was because she hit all those
home runs. What a great way to burst their confidence while teaching them the awesome game of baseball! Now to put a softball in their hands and i am even more excited!
They are so cute when they are little. Makes me wish we could keep her little forever. She has told me and her mom that she wants to be a pitcher and
Kelsie wants to play ball in the
circle (that is the pitchers circle).

Man oh Man does this excite the noodles out of me. I was a pitcher and loved it! I loved playing ball and miss playing at times. I am excited to dig out the glove and ball and start throwing with
Kelsie and Taylor. Some day i might be catching for them in the
Olympics (and they are taking me) but for now i will take it slowly as i
don't' want them t
o get bigger any faster than they already are!
