Okay ... today i left going to las vegas for the much anticipated bowling adventure. Sal and Lori picked me up! I bought them Farmer Boys and away we went.We made a few pit stops along the way, gas, geo caches, alien jerky, you know the usual!
LOL
We checked into the Grandview, i freshened up just a tad and i confirmed with the receptionist at the front desk that the Grandview that they offered a shuttle service.
Sweet on my way to meet Natalie, but not before we stopped in the middle of the road so i could retrieve a yellow golf ball for Lori and her 2 years old to paint with.
I am here, of course turned around in the hotel but i make it meet Natalie, i am so excited, her dad is super charming we have a great dinner, and listened to the love of my love TOBY!~
Afterwards Natalie graciously offers me a pass to use the tram so i don't have to walk the streets of las vegas, so i tram it down to the MGM, cross the bridge to the New York New York, where i sadly bid Natalie and her dad adios.
I sprint across the corner up the stairs, across another bridge, ask the man in the stand where the rotunda is in the Excalibur, as that is where i am suppose to catch the shuttle,. I once again confirm with the Grandview that the shuttle service will arrive at 9:30.
I sit in the rotunda 9:30 comes and goes and no shuttle and now mind you I did ask the receptionist what the Shuttle looked like so that i knew that i was looking for the right thing. she said it should be there in minutes ... 10:00 nothing, okay now i am starting to panic, this place is dark and appears to be only for pick up and drop off of people.
Okay i call again she said it will be there at 10:30 it costs $8 and the shuttle says the grandview on the side, okay i will wait it out. at 11:00 i am now in a panic and well pissed. I called the Grandview again and this time i am screaming mad! She handed me off to someone else who states that you have to buy your pass at the Grandview and the shuttle that you are looking for is called the Ritz! I am now beside my side, how am i gg to get back to my hotel! I have asked them all each step of the way now it is 11:00 i am at the Excalibur and my hotel is not within walking distance. She says i can talk to the manager (OH YEAH VOICEMAIL)
Okay i can do this... i call lori's cell no answer. Okay no need to panic, i texted sal, hey i am stuck at the backside of the Excalibur with no way to my room, his reply, my legs hurt!
Okay now time to have a pity party! I sit on the corner of a bench in this dark area and cry for about 5 min. Figuring this is not going to get me anywhere, i wipe away the tears and contemplate what to do, I know that If i get to the front of a casino i can get a cab, which btw this is not happening at the Excalibur, I was at the cab pickup! The very old lady was like not sure what to tell you, okay more tears, wait this isn't gg to get me anywhere, wiped them away again and walked down a dark alley street way between 2 hotels, make it across and to a cab pick up ... hey that is what the sign said. Sweet I will just take a cab ... okay first cab i asked ... he said i am BUSY and drove off!
I went to the man helping an elderly lady in a cab and said i need a cab to my hotel, another cab pulls up i get in and take a cab to the hotel ... um $22 later and sal's poor hurt legs and a dancing friend that doesn't answer her phone ... i arrived at my HOTEL ... which i conveniently will check out of early ... story pending ...
