Saturday we took a trip to the world famous san deigo zoo.
We met my friends from NM. I have been wanting to go to the zoo to see elephant odyssey
and well since Naomi and Jeff came in early for the cruise and wanted to go to the zoo who am i to say no ... so away we went .. the 5 of us had a good
time well
maybe not 5 Naomi
and
derrick were not thrilled with all the walking LOL. The animals and the care they are given at this zoo are awesome ...
On this trip alone i took 363 pictures thank goodness for digital and editing ...
Following are some of the pictures that i took enjoy the zoo!!!! I hope i have posted your favorite animal.
There are also
pictures of my animals :) Many of my pictures were taken through glass so i am very pleased with them.
By the way that would be an armadillo and that would be jeff's hand petting it ... not another single person in our group joined him in the petting of this creature.

We went to the zoo just yesterday and I mentioned the San Diego Zoo in my post....LOL
Mine today is the Annual Jazz Festival in town. Come by if you can. CLICK HERE
Have a glorious Wednesday.
Great pictures, especially through glass. I have not been to the SD zoo since I was a little girl. I moved to Texas and I've held an armadillo - you should have touched it. Loved your post.

What wonderful photos. We haven't been to the zoo in an age. Thank you for the tour. I hope you are having a wonderful day.
I have never had a chance to pet an armadillo. I have seen them in Florida walking along the tollway. San Diego Zoo in my book is the best in the country. Nice job on your Outdoor Wednesday post!

We went many years ago on the obligatory trip to Disneyland with our kids.
Our timing was not good however because every single critter there was sleeping and we saw basically nothing.
Nice to see them in your pictures.
