So today started out not so good, a catastrophe over finding the car keys and Tim being late led to a horrible morning. Then work well 8 hours of that how fun can that be. Well Joe, said i could go home early. He left early i went to change ... only to notice that i didn't bring any shoes, never fear, my flip flops are under my desk! So away i head to orange county. Google Maps says 41 minutes ... are they insane have you seen California traffic, well apparently Kathy had not so she took pictures!
Okay I am going ... i call Elaine for moral support ... I am so nervous. But she puts my mind to ease. I find the hotel and out comes Kathy and her son 6 foot 2 tall blond haired young man! Wow he looks like he belongs in California!
We are off to tour the OC ....
Our first stop is Pat and Oscars where i totally monopolize the ordering ... BAD BAD BAD me ...
i ordered this awesome salad and breadsticks ... which i will have you know taste the bomb dipped in their spicy mustard ...
Then off to see what every person who comes to California wants to see ... the PACIFIC Ocean.

Until i met her again on Sunday these pictures will have to do.

It was sooooo nice to have a cold Diet Mountain Dew to drink when I woke up at 4 a.m. (I always wake up at 6 a.m. Midwest time so don't know why I was surprised!) Have a fabulous time on your dinner cruise with Tim tonight!

Meeting and spending time with Kathy has been awesome. I love meeting my on line friends, Robin meeting you and shelley and leti in Feb was fantastic as well .. someday i will get to meet elaine, jodie, paula, and tracie (the IL gang); I met Jacquie a few yrs ago and we have been hanging out on occassion! It is so much fun i encourage you all to met if you can!
