Etch a Sketch --- how many remember this toy

IT is okay to date yourself ... come on you know you remember.

July 12, 1960: The Etch-A-Sketch goes on sale. It is every parents dream as it makes no noise, needs no batteries, has no small parts to lose and requires no assembly. More than 50 million will be sold over the next 25 years.
Do your kids have one ? Did you have one? Are you sitting there thinking whatever happened to mine? And lastly were you the kid that took it apart to see if it worked?

Of COURSE I remember the etch-a-sketch. Of course, it was always lot cooler-looking when someone else was doing it. I never could make my creations look anything like a REAL drawing. :-)

I had etch a sketch after etch a sketch! When one broke, I got another one. I could keep myself busy for hours! I loved my etch a sketch!

My son had one and I think my daughter had one when she was younger, but we don't have one now. May have to get one for the kids for Christmas.
